I have a 160Kg overturnable spiral mixer and was curious if anyone has ever attempted to try and remove the lift portion from the spiral mixer?
Some details, its 21year old Empire Mixer. Talked with Empire and they don’t have any recommendations, go figure. The mixer itself has feet so I don’t have to worry about that. All that needs to be done is to disconnect the hydraulics, rewire the control panel, and weld the control panel to some part of the mixer (currently connected through the lift base). I’m not the most handy so explain it to me like I’m 5, please. So if you have done something like this before I would love to hear how you went about it.
We are trying to move to a new location and do not need the lift (this will free up some space for us too!) and don’t want to spend more money on a new mixer after just purchasing a brand new oven, just trying to save money anywhere I can.
